1S8P Molicel P42A P-Group 21700 battery pack for DIY

Description

This is a ready-to-assemble P-Group made with Molicel P42A Li-Ion cells for your e-board battery pack project.

Do you want to build your own battery pack but don’t want to go through the hassle of buying a spot welder, source the correct nickel strips, fish paper, heat shrink , wires, BMS, charge ports, etc. and wait weeks just to find you need more things to finish the battery?, or maybe you don’t have time and need to hit the road as soon as possible or don’t feel confident to embarc on such complicated journey?

… then this single P-Group is all you need.

You can choose between:

Straight array:

(For enclosures where width is restricted)

Offset array:

(For enclosures where height is restricted)

It comes pre-assembled with all the requiered bits to build it yourself with minimal tools and finish your project very fast.

The main benefits are:

1. Buy as many P-Groups as you need and build the configuration you want, eg: you need a 12s8p get 12 1s8p p-groups, you need a 14s4p get 14 1s4p groups.
2. You don’t need to source all the bits from different sources and wait weeks to get them from China
3. You don’t meed to be an electronic expert to build the battery from scratch

Each P-Group comes with:

1. Exterior heat shrink
2. 2 x 10-12AWG heat shrink
3. 3 x of 5cm pre-cutted and pre-tinned 16AWG wires to conect p-groups together
4. 6 x Pre-tinned points on the nickel strip to solder the connecting wires
5. 30cm of 10AWG (30cm red + 30cm black)
6. 1x pz XT90 connector male+female
7. 2 x heatshink for the charge port
8. 1 x Charge port
9. 30cm of heatshirnk for the BMS balacing wires
10. 3M Double sided tape to stick the p-groups into the enclosure
11. Instructions

Optional parts:

1. Charge only BMS
2. Battery capacity meter

The only tool you will need is a soldering iron and a beer to finish the job in a few hours.
